Short Film: Don't Wake Up in the Middle of the Night (2020)
Director: Matthew Quaid
Writer: Matthew Quaid
Star: Lizette Guzman-Zaragoza
Run Time: 6 Minutes
A woman looks at herself in the mirror. She looks at the huge bed with only one pillow, and then goes to sleep. She can see herself in the mirror on the closet door. As she sleeps, the blanket pulls down all by itself.
The woman wakes up and sees the blanket being pulled down, which terrifies her. She looks in the mirror to see what’s under the bed, and she sees *something*. Was that a hand?
Then she crawls to the edge of the bed and looks down. The hand is gone. Where did it go?
Was this woman born yesterday? Never look under the bed in the dark. I feel like everyone knows this. It’s like the number one rule of horror.
Then again, what’s the only place in the house scarier than under the bed? How about the closet?
